Roma Termini Neighborhood

First stop this morning is Santa Maria Maggiori. Beautiful church and Sunday morning mass. Gorgeous music as we enjoyed viewing the art.

National Museum of Rome has some of the best Roman statues and frescos and mosaics from Roman villas.

The baths of Diocletian from 300AD were next. During the Renaissance part of the baths were rebuilt into a church.

We walked back via a street that was lined with Baroque churches and sculptures. Tim took some lovely photos. We ended up at the Trevi Fountain with every other tourist in Rome.

You are seeing a lot of beautiful sights. We also went to that National museum and I took photos of the same statues which caught Tim’s eye. He and I think similarly. Really breathtaking, isn’t it? I am so happy you can be there. The crowds are impressive. I would be so sad to be there and forego cheese, but you are both so strong and amazing.
We enjoy seeing the sights vicariously.
In Spain police check to be sure you are wearing a mask, as our friends just returned from there. In France many restaurants, public transportation and museums require one to show a proof of vaccine card. In America someone just pulls out a gun and shoots you for making you do what you don’t want to do. Sigh. I pray for our country and the anger. It’s spiritual warfare but God will be and is victorious.
Thank you, we are enjoying your blog.

So true. When we boarded our flight to Munich in Denver, one couple was quite upset about wearing masks, even though it was required by the German government.
